Privacy policy

Tiny Media is a Mac app. Converting, compressing, and extracting audio happen on your computer. Files are not uploaded to Tiny Media servers — there are none for that.

The Mac app

• Media you drop stays on disk. Output is written to a folder you control.
• A license key, if you buy, is stored in the Mac Keychain.
• Optional notifications use Apple’s notification system on your Mac.
• Link downloads contact the sites you paste, and may fetch an updated downloader helper. That is so the app can keep saving files you asked for, not to build a profile.
• App updates, when you enable them, check an update feed over HTTPS.

This website

The marketing site is static. Checkout, when enabled, is handled by the payment provider linked from the Buy button. Their privacy policy applies to card data. Tiny Media does not need an account.
